According to statistics from Coloradans Against Auto Theft, the 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokees is most stolen SUV in Colorado. The 1996 Honda Accord is the most stolen car. The 2001 Dodge Ram is the most stolen truck.

On average more than 12,000 cars are stolen in Colorado every year. That translates into more than $79 million in losses. That’s about half of what it used to be years ago since task forces statewide were put in place, but police are cracking down even more.
